NEW MATERNITY WING OPENED IN KOYO/NDURIO WARD
New mothers have a new place to convalesce after giving birth, this is after Governor Stephen Sang officially opened Kapkolei Maternity Wing marking a major milestone in the journey towards Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in the County.
The County Government of Nandi has also upgraded the Dispensary to an Health Center and can now offer expanded healthcare services.
“Improving primary health facilities in the county will reduce incidents of patients visiting referral hospitals for minor ailments while easing access to health services,” said Governor Sang.
Present at the event were the CEC for Health Ruth Koech, CEC for Agriculture Dr. Kiplimo Lagat, Koyo/Ndurio Ward MCA Hon. Magdalene Maiyo among other county officials.
