
GOVERNOR STEPHEN SANG INSPECTS ONGOING WORKS AT NANDI TEXTILE UNIT (NATEX) IN MOSORIOT, MARKING A MAJOR MILESTONE IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
In a significant step towards boosting local trade and economic growth, H.E. Governor Stephen Sang today inspected the ongoing works at the newly established Nandi Textile Unit (Natex) in Mosoriot, Lelmokwo/Ngechek Ward, Chesumei Sub County. The visit underscores the county government’s commitment to fostering industrial development and creating sustainable economic opportunities for the people of Nandi.
The modern textile facility, which is set for commissioning soon, represents a major milestone in the county’s efforts to promote local trade and industrialization. Once operational, Natex is expected to play a pivotal role in transforming the local economy by creating jobs, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and providing a platform for value addition in the textile sector.
During the inspection, Governor Sang expressed his optimism about the project’s potential to drive economic growth and improve livelihoods. “The establishment of Natex is a testament to our commitment to supporting businesses and creating trade opportunities for our people.
