GOVERNOR SANG URGES RESIDENTS TO REGISTER FOR SOCIAL HEALTH AUTHORITY
H. E Governor Stephen Sang has urged Nandi residents to continue registering for the Social Health Authority (SHA) to ensure they access a comprehensive range of quality health service.
Speaking over the weekend in separate occasions in Aldai Sub County, the Governor highlighted the affordability of the program, emphasizing that it costs only Ksh.300 and can cover hospital bills in times of need.
“I call on Nandi residents to take part in the transformative Universal Health Coverage (UHC) program by registering via *147# or visiting www.sha.go.ke,” he said.
“Our CHPs are also available in all villages across the county to assist in the registration where necessary,” noted the Governor.
He noted that his administration is working towards completing all pending infrastructure in the health sector within the county.
“Health is wealth, and with SHA, we are building a healthier, more productive society. This inclusive healthcare initiative will make medical services more accessible and affordable, ensuring that every citizen benefits from quality healthcare,” he said.
The Governor further called on church and community leaders to spread awareness about the program, stressing its role in fostering a healthier and more resilient population.
