FAMILIARIZATION MEETING FOR THE NEW CECM
The Deputy Governor Dr Yulita Cheruiyot together with the new CEC Member for Health and Sanitation Dr Angeline Kirui, today held a familiarization meeting with the County Health Management Team (CHMT).
The meeting is part of consecutive meetings that the New County Executive Committee Member is having with the different units of the department in order to get a briefing on ongoing health programs, key achievements, challenges, and priority areas within the health sector. 
Among the issues highlighted at the meeting were critical initiatives such as enhancing primary healthcare services, improving maternal and child health, strengthening the supply of essential medicines, and upgrading health infrastructure across the county.
The Deputy Governor assured the new CECM of the county’s unwavering support as she assumes her role and pledged to work collaboratively to address existing gaps and drive transformative changes in health service delivery.

Present during the meeting were the Chief Officer Fredrick Kiptum, County Director for Health Dr David Bungei, Director for Administration Philip Kogo and Primary Health Care Coordinator Sally Kemboi.
