EMBRACE NHIF SERVICES, NANDI RESIDENTS URGED

Health and Sanitation CEC Ruth Koech addressing Kapsabet residents during Real Community Medical Camp

Residents of Nandi have been urged to embrace the services offered by the Kenya National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) and to frequently go for medical checkups.

Addressing the residents of Kapsabet during the Real Community Foundation Medical Camp organized by Reale Hospital Kapsabet Branch, the CECM for Health and Sanitation Ruth Koech noted that many of Nandi residents are not yet registered with NHIF, which she said was risky in case of an emergency.

The CEC urged the residents to secure NHIF cards for better healthcare service delivery whenever they are admitted in hospitals and cannot afford to settle the bill.
