
COUNTY SECRETARY DR. FRANCIS SANG HOSTS EQUITY BANK DELEGATION AHEAD OF STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
The County Secretary, Dr. Francis Sang, today welcomed a high-level delegation from Equity Bank, led by the Group Managing Director, Mr. Moses Nyambanda, in a courtesy call that marked the beginning of a promising collaboration between the county and the financial institution. The meeting, held at the county headquarters, centered on the finalization of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at fostering socio-economic growth and empowerment across various sectors in Nandi County.
The partnership, which is set to be formalized soon, will encompass a wide range of initiatives designed to uplift the lives of Nandi County residents. Key areas of collaboration include: Training for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Youth Empowerment, Support for SMEs, Affordable Housing for County Staff, Financial Literacy Programs, Agribusiness Development.
During the meeting, Dr. Francis Sang expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “This partnership with Equity Bank is a significant step towards empowering our citizens and driving economic growth in Nandi County. We are committed to working with all financial institutions to ensure that our people have access to the resources and knowledge they need to thrive.”
