Health and Sanitation CEC Member Mrs. Ruth Koech, made an impromptu visit at the Kapsabet County Referral Hospital with an aim of assessing the hospital’s level of preparedness in case of an emergency.
During the 9pm visit, the CEC member toured various wards in the hospital, where she reiterated the County Government’s commitment to modernise the facility to attend health care needs for the Nandi residents.
She said she was committed to working to ensure that the hospital operates competitively with private hospitals in the county.
After touring the facility, the county executive member shared some light moments with nurses, patients, the cleaners and the security guards.
