
NANDI DELEGATION DEPARTS FOR GLOBAL OPEN GOVERNMENT PARTNERSHIP SUMMIT IN SPAIN
Nandi County’s delegation has left for Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, to participate in the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Global Summit 2025, taking place from October 5th to 12th. The team will represent Nandi as a proud key member of the OGP Local initiative.
Nandi County continues to gain global recognition for its leadership in promoting transparency, public participation, and civic engagement in governance. Through its commitments under the OGP framework, the county has made notable strides in areas such as Public Participation, Open Contracting, and Access to Information.
The county’s efforts have earned international accolades, including the prestigious Access to Information Award received at the 2023 OGP Global Summit in Tallinn, Estonia. This award highlights Nandi’s dedication to making governance more open and inclusive.
