ROAD WORKS OFFICIALLY COMMENCES IN KIPKAREN WARD (MOSOP SUB-COUNTY)

Road construction works have immediately kicked off at Kipkaren Ward after it was flagged off by Nandi County Governor H.E Dr Cleophas Lagat.
The County Government acquired its own road construction machineries which includes 4 graders, 2 back hoe shovels, 2 excavators, 2 rollers, 2 bulldozers and 4 tippers, a move that has been received by many as a boost to County’s infrastructure and best way to save County millions of money allocated annually towards roads maintenance.
Local leaders and Kipkaren residents who were present during the flagging off exercise praised the County Government of Nandi for demonstrating their work in action and promised to support the exercise.”I am so happy that we will now be able to transport our farm produce with ease,” said one market vendor.
Nandi governor Dr Cleophas Lagat assured all Nandi residents that his government is under control and he will ensure that all the roads in 30 Wards are improved to the best standards. He further urged the residents to see to it that no one is involved in siphoning of fuel and that anyone found guilty will face the law.
The Governor was accompanied by his deputy Dominic Biwott, CEC Roads Josiah Korir and other government officials.
