Chairman Water Services Trust Fund Hon. Musikari Kombo today visited a number of water projects funded by trust fund in Nandi county. Speaking to the press Musikari emphasised on the need to involve the public in the various projects implemented as they will feel part and parcel of the project. “We need to work together and be accountable in all that we are tasked to do” he added. Nandi County is among the 6 counties that have benefited from funds from water services trust fund. Among the projects his team visited include Kapkilel water source that 105 families, 2 primary and 1 secondary school have benefited from gravitated water. So far more than 1000 families are getting water from 13 protected springs, 100 families are getting water from 2 water kiosks in the area. CEC Lands, Environment and Natural Resources Dr. John Chumo thanked the entire team for the good work they have done in the County.”Being the chairman of all Land ministers in the Country i will lead by showing example in my County” he emphasised.
